Newest Addition

Thursday night, we went over to mom's in Casa Grande to eat dinner with grandma and grandpa Stephenson. Tanner remembering that mom had his 'Tanner and Porter' fish asked where they were. I told him that they went home to their mommy and daddy (literally). So he went up to Rusten and asked if he would buy Tanner a purple fish. Of course Rusten agreed but didn't think Tanner would remember after spending the weekend with mom in California. They went up to aunt Karen's for Hannah's homecoming. Saturday night, Rusten was talking to Tanner and first thing he said was "daddy my fish?" So yesterday before we picked up Tanner we stopped to get two 'brother' fish. Its really a male and female beta, the only purple fish they had. But he can find that out later in life!! With Tanner gone for the weekend I realized a couple of things. (I've never had to house to just Porter and me, since Porter was born). My house stays clean, Porter takes longer naps and sticks to his schedule, and most of all that Tanner completes our house and makes me fill whole!! Ooh the power and hold kids have on you is priceless, or maybe its overwhelming? But you still love and miss them when they are gone, even though you needed a break!!!
